$DefaultAudioInputDevice
gives the name of the default audio input device attached to the computer.
Details
- $DefaultAudioInputDevice can be set to any available device listed in $AudioInputDevices. The value is preserved across Wolfram Language sessions.
- If not set explicitly or if cleared, $DefaultAudioInputDevice is effectively taken to be the same as the system settings.
