ReturnPacket

ReturnPacket[expr]

is a WSTP packet that contains the expression expr, the result of an EvaluatePacket evaluation.

Basic Examples  (1)

Launch a subsidiary Wolfram Language kernel process:

Read the first packet:

In[2]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[2]=

Write the expression 2+2 to the link without evaluating it:

In[3]:=
Click for copyable input

The result is a ReturnPacket expression:

Close the link:

In[5]:=
