Data Ranges

If the number format of a range is not Text, the range is considered to contain data.

When transferring data from Excel to Mathematica :

• Data is transferred as it is natively stored in Excel. When transferring data from Mathematica to Excel:

• Nonnative expressions are converted to an equivalent Excel data type whenever possible. See Overview for more details.
