AutoloadPath
This function has not been fully integrated into the long-term Wolfram Language, and is subject to change.
is a global option that specifies from which directories packages are automatically loaded when the Wolfram System is started.
Details
- The front end searches in each directory included on AutoloadPath for a subdirectory called FrontEnd that contains a file called init.m. It will execute the contents of all such init.m files it finds.
- The directories are searched using the FrontEnd`FileName function. Typical directories included on AutoloadPath are FrontEnd`FileName[{$UserBaseDirectory,"Autoload"}] and FrontEnd`FileName[{$InstallationDirectory,"Autoload"}].
