"Superscript"

is a front end token that creates a SuperscriptBox and fills the base with a selection.

Details

  • "Superscript" is equivalent to Insert ▶ Typesetting ▶ Superscript.
  • "Superscript" will fill the base with the subexpression to the left of the selection if it is an insertion point.
  • A typical use is FrontEndExecute[FrontEndToken["Superscript"]].
