Hyphenation
Publicon automatically hyphenates words. You can switch off hyphenation using the Preferences dialog box, either for individual cells or for all cells of a certain cell style. You can also specify the character to be used for hyphenation. Finally, you can control fine details of how hyphenation works.
To switch hyphenation off for selected cells:
1. Select the cells for which you want to turn off hyphenation.
2. Choose Edit

Preferences on Macintosh) to open the Option Inspector dialog box.
3. Locate the preference Hyphenation. This is listed under Formatting Options
Text Layout Options.
4. Set Hyphenation

To specify the character used for hyphenation:
1. Click Edit

2. Locate the preference HyphenationCharacter. This is listed under Formatting Options

3. Set the character you wish to use as the value of this preference. For more information about changing the value of an preference, see Publicon Getting Started: Advanced Formatting.
To control the amount of indentation allowed before hyphenation is applied:
1. Click Edit

2. Locate the preference HyphenationFreeZone. This is listed under Formatting Options
Text Layout Options
HyphenationOptions.
