Slide Shows
You can create a Publicon document that operates as a slide show and still edit the cells in a slide just as you would edit cells in a normal document.
In the Screen environment, all the slides in the slide show are visible and can be edited. In the Presentation environment, only one slide is visible at a time. You can switch between the two environments by using the View
Screen Environment submenu.
To convert a document to a slide show:
1. Click the Navigation tab of the Document palette to reveal the Slide Show sub-tab.
2. Place the cursor where you want each slide to begin and click the New Slide button to place a navigation bar. Be sure to place a navigation bar at the top of the document, for the first slide.
3. Use the Last Slide button at the end of the document. This last slide sets the counters for all the other slides, so it is important that it be placed last.
4. Choose View
Screen Environment
Presentation to put your document in slide show mode. To navigate through your slide show, use the Page Up and Page Down keys or the arrow buttons at the top of the slide show document. The left arrow button navigates to the previous slide, right arrow goes to the next. The Home and End keys or the outer left and right arrow buttons navigate to the first and last slides, respectively.
