Getting Help
Go to the Help menu for easy access to documentation on all of Publicon's features and functions.
The Help Browser works like a search engine. You can use it to locate information on a given topic by specifying one or more keywords.
The contents of the Help Browser include:
User Guide. Detailed instructions on performing specific tasks.
Reference. Information on menu items, keyboard shortcuts, and other topics.
Master Index. A complete index of all items in the Help Browser.
To search for information on a topic:
1. Choose Help
Help Browser to access online help.
2. Click Master Index to open the Help Browser index.
3. Start typing in the text field. As you type, the first matching entry is highlighted in the columns of the Help Browser.
4. Click Go To. The window lists all available information in the form of hyperlinks.
5. Click a hyperlink. The Help Browser jumps to that topic and displays the information.
6. To return to the index, click Back. Click another hyperlink to see other help.
You can use the Help Browser like any other notebook. You can cut and paste, follow hyperlinks to other information, and print information directly from the Help Browser.
You can resize the Help Browser by dragging the corners of the notebooks or by changing the magnification.
