Information

This information is part of the Modelica Standard Library maintained by the Modelica Association.

Syntax

Weibull.cumulative(u, lambda=1, k=1);

Description

This function computes the cumulative distribution function according to a Weibull distribution with scale parameter lambda and shape parameter k. Equation:

y := if u >= 0 then 1 - exp(-(u/lambda)^k) else 0.0;

The returned value y is in the range:

0 ≤ y ≤ 1

Plot of the function:

Example

cumulative(0.5)       // = 0.3934693402873666
cumulative(0.5,0.5,1) // = 0.6321205588285577
