InterquartileRange

InterquartileRange[list]
gives the difference between the upper and lower quartiles for the elements in list.

InterquartileRange[dist]
gives the difference between the upper and lower quartiles for the symbolic distribution dist.

InterquartileRange[list] is equivalent to Quartiles[list][[3]]-Quartiles[list][[1]].

InterquartileRange works with SparseArray objects.
