The typical default setting is TimeZone:>$TimeZone.
U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) corresponds to time zone -5.
Daylight Saving Time corrections must be included in the time zone, so U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) corresponds to time zone -4.
