PointOnCone1
3D• PointOnCone1[cnum, point, axis, ang] constrains point to lie on the surface of a cone of half angle ang. The axis of the cone is specified by axis and the vertex of the cone lies at the origin of axis.
• PointOnCone1 constrains one degree of freedom. • PointOnCone1 becomes singular as ang approaches zero or as point passes though the vertex of the cone.
• Use PointOnLine2 instead.
