InvokeMethod

The functionality provided by GUIKit has been superseded by the interface construction and controls functions native to the built-in Wolfram Language.

InvokeMethod[name,{}|content]

calls a widget method on the wrapping contexted widget.

InvokeMethod[{target,name},content]

calls a widget method on the specified target widget.

Details and Options

  • To use InvokeMethod, you first need to load GUIKit using Needs["GUIKit`"].
  • InvokeMethod can be used to make a method call on a widget, with arguments to the call specified by content.
  • If no target argument exists, then the target of the method call is the wrapping widget instance.
