Name

The functionality provided by GUIKit has been superseded by the interface construction and controls functions native to the built-in Wolfram Language.

Name

is an option to GUIKit expression functions and identifies a string name with which to register the widget instance in the active widget registry.

Details and Options

  • To use Name, you first need to load GUIKit using Needs["GUIKit`"].
  • After assigning a name to a widget, the widget can be found with WidgetReference["name"].
