is a global option that specifies settings for the Insert File Path dialog box.
Details
- The typical usage is FileNameDialogSettings->{opt1->val1,opt2->val2,…}.
- The following option may be specified:

"StringFormat" True specifies the format for pasting the pathname of a file into a notebook when the Insert ▶ File Path menu item is used - With the default setting "StringFormat"->True, the pathname of the file is pasted into the notebook as a string. The pathname is expressed in a format appropriate for the operating system being used.
- With the setting "StringFormat"->False, the pathname is pasted as a FrontEnd`FileName expression.
