Launching Wolfram on Windows
To run Wolfram using a network license, both the client machine and the license server must be on the network, and MathLM must be running.
If you do not have a MathLM license server, you will need to activate your copy of Wolfram. Please see "Activating Products in Wolfram" for more information.
To Launch Wolfram:
Alternatively, you can open an Explorer window, go to the Program Files\Wolfram Research\Wolfram\15.0 directory, and double-click the WolframNB icon.
To Launch Only the Wolfram Kernel:
Alternatively, you can open an Explorer window, go to the Program Files\Wolfram Research\Wolfram\15.0 directory, and double-click the WolframKernel icon.
