DefaultNotebook

is a global option that specifies which notebook is used as a template for all new notebooks.

Details

  • The default notebook determines the properties of new notebooks, such as the appearance of the scroll bars and frame and whether the toolbar and ruler are visible.
  • The default setting is DefaultNotebook->"DefaultTemplate.nb".
