$IncomingMailSettings

$IncomingMailSettings

gives the default settings used by MailServerConnect to connect to an incoming mail server.

Details

  • $IncomingMailSettings is an association with the following elements:
  • "Username"Noneuser login name
    "Password"Noneuser password
    "Server"Noneserver host name or IP address
    "PortNumber"Automaticserver port number
  • $IncomingMailSettings can be configured to connect to a specific incoming mail server.
  • $IncomingMailSettings is persistently stored on your local machine.
  • On desktop systems, $IncomingMailSettings can also be configured through Preferences Internet & Mail Mail Settings in the notebook front end.
