- $IncomingMailSettings is an association with the following elements:

"Username" None user login name "Password" None user password "Server" None server host name or IP address "PortNumber" Automatic server port number - $IncomingMailSettings can be configured to connect to a specific incoming mail server.
- $IncomingMailSettings is persistently stored on your local machine.
- On desktop systems, $IncomingMailSettings can also be configured through Preferences ▶ Internet & Mail ▶ Mail Settings in the notebook front end.
