MailAddressValidation

MailAddressValidation

is an option for SendMail that specifies whether and how to validate email addresses.

Details

  • Typical settings include:
  • Automaticautomatic validation test
    Noneno validation
    fan arbitrary function f
  • With the setting MailAddressValidation->f, the function f is applied to all sender and recipient email addresses.
  • If validation fails for any address, SendMail will not send any message, and will return a Failure object.
