PalettePath

This function has not been fully integrated into the long-term Wolfram Language, and is subject to change.

PalettePath

is a global option that specifies which directories the Wolfram System searches for palettes on startup.

Details

  • The directories to be searched are specified using the FrontEnd`FileName function. Typical directories included in PalettePath are FrontEnd`FileName[{$UserBaseDirectory,"SystemFiles", "FrontEnd","Palettes"}] and FrontEnd`FileName[{$BaseDirectory,"SystemFiles","FrontEnd","Palettes"}].
  • The Palettes menu lists all the notebooks found in the directories specified by PalettePath.
