Copy Graphics Selection

copies the selected (or clicked upon) object within the graphic to the clipboard.

Details

  • To copy an object within a graphic and place it on the clipboard, right-click the graphics object to be copied and choose Copy Graphics Selection from the contextual menu.
  • The copied graphics object can then be inserted in another notebook or elsewhere in the same notebook by using Edit ▶ Paste.
  • [Right-click] ▶ Copy Graphics Selection is equivalent to selecting the graphics object and choosing Edit ▶ Copy.
  • Copy Graphics Selection can be found in the contextual menu for graphics objects.
