  • This message is generated when the value of the TargetFunctions option in ComplexExpand does not have the expected form.
  • The value of the TargetFunctions option is expected to be Re, Im, Abs, Arg, Conjugate, Sign, or a list containing one or more of these functions.
  • Off[message] switches off the message; On[message] switches it on. For example: Off[ComplexExpand::exf].
