Call a Wolfram API from Excel

Use CloudConnector for Excel to call Wolfram APIs from within spreadsheets.

Install Wolfram CloudConnector for Excel

Install the CloudConnector for Excel plugin by following the instructions in Setup and Getting Started.

Create the API

In your Wolfram desktop product, use APIFunction to create a function that returns all the business days from a specified date and range of days:

Deploy the API

Use CloudDeploy to send the API to the Wolfram Cloud:

Call the APIFunction in Excel

In Excel, use the WolframAPI function to call your deployed API:

  • When calling a deployed API, specify everything after https://wolframcloud.com/obj.
