SpellingDictionariesPath

is a global option that specifies which directories are searched for spelling dictionaries when the Edit ▶ Check Spelling menu item is used.

Details

  • The directories to be searched are specified using the FrontEnd`FileName function. A typical directory included on SpellingDictionariesPath is FrontEnd`FileName[{$UserBaseDirectory,"Autoload","SystemFiles", "SpellingDictionaries"}].
