This package contains directional control valves with lumped volumes. The hydraulic ports could be connected to arbitrary components in the hydraulic library. Externally controlled directional control valves have been divided into sub-packages based on how the valve is controlled.

Conventional solenoid actuation

These valves are controlled by a real-valued input and have a finite set of positions. They can be connected to blocks from the Modelica Standard Library.

Proportional solenoid actuation

These valves are controlled by a real-valued input and have an infinite set of positions. They can be connected to blocks from the Modelica Standard Library.

Hydraulic actuation

These valves are controlled by pressures at hydraulic pilot ports and have an infinite set of positions. The pilot ports can be connected to other hydraulic components.

Mechanical actuation

These valves are controlled by a translational mechanical flange and have an infinite set of positions. They can be connected to translational mechanical components from the Modelica Standard Library.
