RemoteJobNotifications

is an option specifying notifications for a remote batch job.

Details

  • RemoteJobNotifications is supported by the "WolframBatch" provider.
  • RemoteJobNotifications specifies what notification events to generate and what actions to take for those events. Possible settings include:
  • Noneno notifications
    Automaticissue email notifications when the job starts and upon completion
    eventevent that uses the default notification method
    event->methodevent that uses a given method
    {event,...}multiple events that use the default notification method
    {event,...}->methodmultiple events that use the same method
    {event,...}->{method,...}multiple events that share multiple notification methods
    {event1method1,...}multiple event and method pairs
  • Notification events can be specified in the following forms:
  • "event"named event
    {"event",val}event that is qualified by a value or quantity
  • For the "WolframBatch" provider, possible notification methods include:
  • "Email"sends an email to the address specified by $WolframID
    "SMS"sends an SMS text message to $MobilePhone
  • For the "WolframBatch" provider, possible notification events related to job status changes include:
  • "JobStarting"job is no longer queued and is preparing to start
    "JobStarted"job has started running
    "JobCompleted"job has succeeded or terminated
    "JobSucceeded"job succeeded producing a result
    "JobTerminated"job terminated abnormally
    "JobStatusChanged"issued for all job status change events
  • For the "WolframBatch" provider, possible notification events related to elapsed time include:
  • {"HoursElapsed",n}approximately every n hours since job creation
  • For the "WolframBatch" provider, possible notification events related to Service Credits include:
  • {"JobCreditsUsed",n}every time approximately n credits have been consumed
