ValidationLength

ValidationLength

is an option to FindSequenceFunction and related functions that specifies the number of elements in the input sequence that should be used to validate a potential representation found.

Details

  • With the setting ValidationLength->p, the last p elements of the input sequence are used to validate the correctness of the candidate representation.
  • The last p elements are not used in the search for possible representations.
