The main purpose for this component is to initiate a shaft supported with rolling bearings. A shaft supported by rolling bearings has no natural state to be initialized to, therefore this component provides such a state. The default initialization is the same as for the outer ring. There is also some torsional (rotational) damping corresponding to bearing losses. Finally, there is translational damping, which may be useful in some transient simulations. By default, all these parameters are set to 10.
