DefaultOptions

DefaultOptions

is a style option that allows default options to be specified for particular formatting and related constructs.

Details

  • A typical setting is DefaultOptions->{obj1->opts1,}, where the obji are symbols such as Button, Pane, or Graphics.
  • Style[expr,DefaultOptions->{obj1->opts1,}] specifies that when obji[] appears in expr, it should be given the default options opti.
